Went out this Sunday (July 1st) with the intention of adding some bird photographs to the calendar when this Eastern Tiger Swallowtail appeared on our heavily blooming butterfly bush. Oddly enough it didn’t just run off to another plant while I fetched the camera and then the tripod…. So here it is, as representative of July as you can get without being an American flag….
